El 26 de marzo, la noticia del colapso del Francis Scott Key Bridge conmocionó a los residentes de Baltimore. Seis trabajadores inmigrantes perdieron la vida tras la caída del puente y miles de personas que residen en las zonas aledañas se vieron afectadas. En medio de la tragedia el presidente Biden anunció que los trabajadores sindicalizados y los sindicatos tendrán a su cargo la reconstrucción de la infraestructura. El Cafecito del Día joined the Fairfax County American Federation of Teachers (AFT) for its books distribution event. We shared a conversation with David Walrod, president of the Fairfax County AFT about how a book distribution event can have a positive impact in the community, specially in Latino students.
